Mission Statement:
The main purpose of
the Asan Alumni Association is to provide an organization
through which the alumni of the Asan Memorial Senior Secondary
School dispersed around the world can interact with each other
to further the objectives outlined in it’s Mission Statement and
thereby to provide service to the:
ALUMNI: To facilitate networking among alumni with the
following purposes in view:
Providing a platform for social interaction between alumni for
mutual benefit in social, academic and/or business areas.
Providing assistance to alumni (where deemed fit by the
association).
SCHOOL: To facilitate and encourage alumni to contribute
towards improvement in the status of the School in areas
pertaining to academics, infrastructure, industry interactions
and any other area that the alumni feels appropriate.
STUDENTS: To render assistance to deserving students of
the School through grants, scholarships, prizes etc and to
provide assistance in academics, placement or any other area
that is felt appropriate by the association. The association
shall also try to create opportunities and provide suitable
forums to enable such interaction.
SOCIETY: The association will also encourage and
facilitate the alumni taking up activities that are geared to
improve society at large.
OTHER: To further such objectives as the General Body may
decide from time to time. |
