3. Confirmation of Minutes of AGM held on 18th August 2012.
4. Presentation of Annual Report by the Secretary – Varghese Mathew (’89 Batch)
5. Presentation and Adoption of Accounts of AAA & AAET by Treasurer – Jayanthi Anilkumar (’92 Batch)
6. Propose and appoint auditors for the period 2013-2015
7. Nominations from the floor for new office bearers for 2013-2015
8. Shifting of bank accounts and FDs from UBI Nungambakkam Branch to The Federal Bank Limited, Greames Road Branch

TEACHERS' CULTURAL EVENT

Venue : AMMUSWAMINATHAN AUDITORIUM

A Teachers Cultural Event is being organized by Asan Alumni Association on the 18th of August 2012 from 11am at our School Auditorium.

Some of our old retired teachers are also participating in this event and it will be a good platform for all of us to express our gratitude towards them for having made us what we are today.

We also have a KAI KOTTI KALI dance performance by our present teachers, poetry recital, Singing, etc.

Group Photos of Various Batches with the Teachers will also be taken and distributed for those who wish to have a copy of the same.

Onam Sadhya is also arranged for the teachers and members post the event.

Request all of you to make yourself available on this day to be amidst our good old teachers and express your love and respect for them.

Looking forward to see you on 18th.

GET-TOGETHER AND MUSICAL EVENING

The Asan Alumni Association has organized for a 'Get-together and Musical Evening' on the 15th of January 2012, (Sunday). DJ - Nabarun Ghosh will rock us all with some peppy numbers and melting melodies. Join us at the CBSE School Auditorium between 4pm and 6:30pm to catch up with our good old school days, have fun and enjoy the evening. You can come with your family members also for this event . See you on Sunday.

INTER BATCH VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT - POSTPONED

POSTPONED: The Tournament has been postponed to 5th November 2011, 3pm because of the Inauguration of Asan Dental College on 29th October 2011. Inconvenience regretted.

The Asan Alumni Association Inter-batch Volleyball tournament will be held on 29th October 2011. We've planned to invite some of our old school teachers including Bhavani Miss (PT ) to be present for this event and take this opportunity for a felicitation. This event is being organized to help Alumni to catch up with some good old times and buddies. This event is not an exhibition of our professional skills and technicalities of the game but to relive our good old school days and have lots of fun.Hence, its not mandatory that you must know to play volleyball. Just be there, enjoy and have fun. I request one person from each batch to take the lead and organize your team. Confirmations will have to reach us before 22nd October 2011. Notice is given to all members of the Asan Alumni Association that the Annual General meeting of the associatin shall be held on August 15, 2009 at the Ammu Swaminathan Auditorium on the school premises. All members are requested to participate. Notice of the AGM has been despatched by post to all members. Past students of the Asan memorial Sr. Sec school who are not yet members of the school are requested to become life-members of the AAA by paying a nominal fee of Rs. 1000/-. The same can be made during the AGM

4. Presentation & adoption of accounts by Hon. Treasurer - Sunia Vipinchandran
5. To propose and if accepted appoint M/s. K. Saravanan & Associates, Chartered Accountants as auditors of the Association and fix their remuneration.
6. Discussion regarding Education Fund.
7. Any other matter with the permission of the chair

Apart from the usual statutory formalities, the AGM is also an opportunity to renew old friendships. The meeting will give alumni the opportunity to share their ideas for the further development and strengthening of our Association.

An evening filled with music, fun and nostalgia filled up the air at our School Auditorium during the Asan Alumni Evening Get-together. Nabarun Ghosh lit up the gathering with his peppy numbers for the young audience and melting melodies for the seniors. But, the limelight of the evening was Bajir Singh - ex-president of AAA, when he got on to the stage to sing his favorite number 'Zindagi Ek Safar'. AAA honoured teachers who were present at the get-together with momentos. It was a moment to cherish forever when we all got on the stage with family, friends and beloved teachers to dance joyfully for an upbeat number from Nabarun Ghosh.
